How Much Does Taobao Shipping to the USA Really Cost?

Domestic postage moves the parcel from the seller to a Chinese warehouse or consolidation point. International postage moves it from China to the USA. INTERNATIONAL ROUTES
Economy forwarding commonly takes 10-15 days after departure from China, while a dedicated or faster route commonly takes 5-8 days. The quote can also reflect the method used to receive your parcel in the USA. These are estimated transit windows, not promises. Carriers combine flight, customs, sorting, and last-mile schedules, so weekends, weather, address issues, and customs reviews can change the total time.

A compact item packed in a large box may be charged on the higher result. We ask about the packed size after purchase and choose a practical carton where possible. If an item is fragile, heavy, oversized, or regulated, tell us before approval because the cheapest route may not be suitable.
THE $800 US DE MINIMIS QUESTION
For US-bound shipments, the commonly cited de minimis threshold is $800 per shipment, subject to current customs rules, product restrictions, and carrier procedures. That threshold is not a promise that your parcel will be tax-free or arrive without a fee. Duties, taxes, brokerage, and handling can still apply depending on the shipment and current treatment.
